What we collect, and what we do with it.

This policy explains how Titan Web Dev ("Titan," "we," "us") handles the information you share when you use this site, contact us, or work with us. If anything here is unclear, reach out and we will explain it in plain terms.

What we collect

Plain version: what you type into our contact form, what you tell us by email or phone, and basic anonymous numbers about how the site is used.

Information you give us. When you fill out the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, your business name, your email address, your current website if you share it, and the message you write. When you email, call, or text us, we collect your contact details and the content of that conversation. We do not ask for anything we do not need to reply and scope your project.

Information collected automatically. Our analytics tool records aggregate usage: which pages get visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device or browser they use. It is statistical and does not identify you. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (an IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

How we use it

Plain version: to reply to you, to scope and deliver the work, and to make the site better.

We use the details from your form, email, or call to respond to you, understand what you need, prepare a scope and a quote, and carry out any work you hire us for. We use analytics to see what is working on the site and to improve it over time. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, and we do not sell it to anyone.

Cookies and analytics

Plain version: we count visits with Plausible, a privacy-first tool that sets no cookies and cannot identify you. That is why you do not see a cookie banner here.

Our analytics provider, Plausible, measures site usage without cookies or any persistent identifier. It records aggregate counts (pages visited, referring site, country, device type) and does not track you across other websites. The only thing the site stores on your device is your light or dark theme preference, which stays in your browser and is never sent to us. If we ever add tools that use cookies, such as advertising measurement, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Who else sees it

Plain version: a few trusted services help us run things (hosting, form delivery, analytics, email). They only get what they need to do their job. We do not sell or rent your information.

We rely on a small set of service providers to operate:

• Hosting and forms. Our hosting provider serves the site and receives contact form submissions so they can reach us.
• Analytics. Plausible measures site usage in aggregate, as described above.
• Email and phone. Our email and phone providers carry the messages and calls between us.

These providers handle information on our behalf and are expected to protect it. Beyond that, we share personal information only when the law requires it, to protect our rights or safety or yours, or, if Titan is ever sold or merged, with the new owner under this same policy.

How we protect it

Plain version: we use sensible safeguards, and we are honest that no system is perfectly secure.

The site is served over HTTPS, access to submissions and email is limited to the people who need it, and we use providers with their own security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share.

How long we keep it

Plain version: only as long as it is useful, then we remove it.

We hold the details from your inquiry for as long as we need them to respond to you, carry out a project, and keep reasonable business records. When the information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you. Aggregate analytics may be kept longer because it does not identify you.

Your choices

Plain version: ask us what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We honor these requests no matter where you live.

You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of any non-essential messages at any time. Some states give residents specific privacy rights; we honor access, correction, and deletion requests from anyone, regardless of where you live. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. To make a request, use the contact details at the end of this page and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Plain version: this site is for businesses and adults, not children.

Our services are for businesses and the adults who run them. The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

Plain version: if this changes, we will update the date at the top.

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Significant changes will be made clear on this page. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the current version.
